We are seeking a pleasant and energetic Receptionist Administrative Assistant to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions at the desk of our main entrance. You will be the "face" of the company for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. A customer oriented approach is essential.
The goal is to make patients and visitors feel comfortable and valued while on our premises.
Responsibilities:
- Receive letters, packages, etc. and distribute them
- Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels, etc.
- Check, sort, and forward emails
- Plan, schedule and confirm appointments, follow up visits, and classes
- Process and understand managed care plans
- Greet and welcome patients with high quality customer service
- Obtain and document information from insurance companies as needed
- Answer inbound telephone calls and redirect them or keep messages
- Keep updated patient records and files and implement organized filing systems
- Check on status and notify customers when orders are in or if any delays
- Perform all other office tasks
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields is preferred
- Professional attitude and appearance

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
