- Assist clients with all activities of daily living (dressing, shopping, visiting, medication, etc.) in the clients home
- Meet all required visits to the clients home according to policy and state regulations
- Provide a positive, supportive environment in which the client(S) receive their care through your interactions with them
- Remain engaged with clients throughout the entire visit process including feedback on services provided and completing notes
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing etc.
- Providing support with transfers and mobility as needed
- Assisting with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), such as light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and transportation
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Upholding client confidentiality with the utmost professionalism
- Delivering exemplary care that aligns with our high standards
Qualifications:
- Patient care experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Senior care background
- Ability to provide caregiving services
- Familiarity with home care practices
- Assisted living skills
- EMR systems proficiency
- Nursing home experience preferred
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Alzheimer's and memory care knowledge
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Ability to provide catheter care
- Familiarity with hospice care
- Experience using a Hoyer lift
- Cleaning skills
- EHR systems knowledge
- Cooking abilities
- Proficiency in medical documentation and records
- Meal preparation experience
