Who You Are...
As a Project Coordinator you are responsible for supporting FAB Products projects from point of sale to completion. The primary focus assisting the Project Managers/Project Engineers with meeting customer specifications and design requirements, scheduling of material procurement and deliveries, supply chain purchasing and budget management for each project. The position is also responsible for assisting to ensuring that orders for projects are managed and delivered to the customer in a professional and effective manner.
* Project management from receipt of order to delivery and payment.
* Work closely with Project Manager to ensure all work orders are opened and closed in a timely manner.
* At times manage small projects from beginning to end as directed by Project Manager.
* Provide appropriate and timely verbal and written communication to customers and vendors.
* Maintain effective communication records and project files.
* Writes detailed supplier purchase requests, coordinates production schedules with vendors and customers, schedules shipments and deliveries and invoices customers
* Work with Commercial and Fulfilment teams as appropriate to coordinate logistics internal and external trucking to ensure on time delivery of all products and services
* Maintain shipping and scheduling spreadsheet for all projects
* Assist with the logistics and BOLs as well as driver communication of shipping
* Create all BOLs and supporting documents
* All other duties as assigned
What Do You Need...
* Bachelor's Degree in Drafting, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or 4 years of equivalent work experience required
* 0-3 years of relevant experience, preferred.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to provide business information to various levels within Fabricated Bridge Products.
* Ability to Understand LB Foster's scope of work on each project (low to medium complexity), with guidance.
* Understanding of supply chain process regarding lead times and special orders.
* Mathematical aptitude, detail-oriented, organized and act with a sense of urgency.
* Problem-solving skills.
* Moderate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
* Ability to learn and understand bridge contract drawings and/or shop drawings.
