KEY RELATIONSHIPS AND TEAM:
The Marketing Leader will be a strategic partner to the VP of Sales and Director of Product Strategy while working collaboratively with several stakeholders including other members of the Executive Leadership team, management, strategic investors, and various consultants.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Marketing Leader will provide leadership, expertise, and support across the entire company facilitating growth and working with product strategy and sales in developing and driving a go-to-market strategy and product initiatives that promotes brand recognition and helps the company retain customers and increase its competitive advantage. In addition, the Head of Marketing will manage all social media efforts and conference sponsorship/participation while managing and retaining external public relations and creative firm(s). This leader will play a key role at FIS surveying customers, analyzing data, and providing valuable insights to the business for informed decision-making and identifying opportunities for growth.
Specifically, the Marketing Leader will be responsible for:
- Forecasting, drafting, implementing, and overseeing the department’s operating budget
- Understanding business objectives and designing surveys to discover prospective customers’ preferences
- Conducting research and gathering data using various methods such as current customer surveys, interviews, and data analysis tools to interpret trends and present results / actional items to internal stakeholders
- Planning, implementing, and overseeing all marketing and advertising campaigns along with promotional activities to build FIS’s brand, brand awareness, and maintain customer retention
- Developing and implementing a marketing campaign by liaising with sales, product strategy and external public relations firms to educate federal regulators, dealers, lenders and vendors on the mission, purpose, and results of providing compliant solutions in the F&I product marketplace
- Managing the creative process and development of thought leadership content for new business development initiatives and current business solutions
- Identifying and capitalizing on press release opportunities, scheduling and attending conferences, and speaking engagements regarding F&I products leveraging FIS as the market-leading compliance solution
- Other duties as assigned
As the department grows, the Marketing Leader will be responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training the marketing team. Overseeing the daily workflow and management of the marketing team, providing constructing feedback, coaching, mentoring and performance evaluations.
Professional Qualifications:
The following knowledge, skills, education, and experiences are required:
- Minimum 7 years of marketing experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience marketing in the financial technology (“fintech”) or insurance technology (“insurtech”) industry
- Experience with a hyper-growth environment with the ability to be a self-starter and efficiently thrive with a lean team
- Marketing at a national level and experience working in conjunction with all functional disciplines including financial controls, operations, sales and information technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Excellent research skills
- Top-notch interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

The following knowledge, skills, education, and experiences are preferred:
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience in the automotive industry

Salary : $79,900 - $101,000
