Your Next Career: 

We’re looking for an übertalented, compassionate, and detail-oriented Product Designer to join our multi-faceted Design team here at Fabric. As our most senior visual designer on the team, initially reporting directly to our VP of Design, you will serve as a key member of the Product Design crew, ideating, designing, testing, reiterating pixel-perfect high fidelity prototypes for a wide variety of Enterprise tools, websites, apps, and digital marketing assets. You will unite forces with a freshly formed team of designers, researchers, and architects, designing the future of headless eCommerce. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality visual insights, pixel-perfect high-fidelity design documents, and setting the bar for our developing Design System, working with peers and clients through the entire product development lifecycle while adhering to our new Agile for Design team’s way of working.  

You will contribute, hand-on, to defining, escalating, and crafting Fabric’s Co-Pilot platform while delivering immaculate design documents. You will incorporate and bring forth best-in-class principles and the highest UI GUI design standards in your designs, as well as driving those standards across multiple departments in Fabric.

This role will later report to a dedicated Design manager. Your Responsibilities:

  • Participate in user discovery sessions, design thinking discussions, and journey/empathy mapping workshops to drive a cohesive understanding of our users’ pain points & blockers
  • Translate low-fidelity wireframes, user journeys and IA flows to beautiful & sophisticated pixel-perfect high fidelity prototypes - and ensure proper delivery to our engineering teams 
  • Deliver designs on time for sprint cycles continuously, while constantly raising the quality bar
  • Lead design-centric projects from beginning to end; through internal exec reviews, internal testing, and UAT insight to perfection 
  • Learn, relearn and share best practices with peers and higher-ups 
  • Ensure adherence to design best practices, standards, research results & brand consistency 
  • Scan, critique, redesign & grow our internal Design System, while inspiring designers & peers 
  • Identify design trends, UI hacks & proven solutions that will help improve our user experience 
  • Relentlessly seek user feedback and validation; rework your deliverables accordingly; repeat

What You Bring to The Table: 

  • 5 Years of experience (minimum) in Digital design, UI GUI, full-stack product design 
  • Proven knowledge of utilizing design best practices (in GUI, UI & Design Systems) 
  • Stellar portfolio demonstrating both technical skills & creative thinking 
  • Mad organization skills 
  • A keen eye for details 
  • Proficient written & oral skills 
  • A superpower to operate and invent optimally while under pressure
  • Superb skills in Sketch, Figma, Invision & Adobe creative suite
  • Ample ability to turn complex interactions and docs into sleek & intuitive user experiences 

It’ll be great if you also:

  • Have a product / industrial / graphic design degree 
  • Have experience in UX prototyping (Lo-Fi) and User Research practices 
  • Have experience building scalable Design Systems 
  • Have eCommerce SAAS experience 
  • Worked in a super-fast-paced startup before
  • Worked closely with UX designers, researchers, and developers before 
  • Have experience involving Accessibility best practices in your design cycles
  • Are a direct communicator
