Job Title: Sr. UX Designer
Department: Product Design
Location: Remote
Who we are:
fabric is a modern commerce platform that gives retailers tools to create world-class shopping experiences for mid-market enterprises. We champion a new, harmonious way of doing business that emphasizes connectedness and collaboration over competition and dominance. This is showcased in our products that rely on microservices, APIs, and easy integrations, and in our globally distributed team that genuinely cares about its customers. Our founders directed groundbreaking commerce initiatives at Amazon, Staples, Google and eBay. We're growing fast and looking for more awesome people to join us.
Your Next Career:
Our future Sr. UX Designer is a thinker as much as they’re a doer. You will serve as a key member of the Product Design team, designing, ideating, iterating, and reiterating pixel-perfect prototypes for a wide variety of Enterprise tools and experiences. You will unite forces with a freshly formed team of designers, researchers, and architects, designing the future of headless eCommerce & commerce B2B. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality research insights, low-fidelity prototypes and some high-fidelity design documents through the entire product development lifecycle while adhering to our new Agile for Design teams methodology.
Your Responsibilities:
The Sr. UX Designer will be responsible for understanding the needs of our B2C and B2B customers, translating those into internal design requirements (through User Testing, Interviews, and competitive UX Research), and then prototyping and designing top of the line solutions for our core products, hands-on. You will contribute to defining and implementing UX and design best in class principles through our organization, as well as driving those standards across multiple departments.
In short: We’re looking for a real creative thinker, avid problem-solver, and an excellent teammate to join our multi-faceted & fast-paced (yet work-life conscious) design team. This role will initially report to the Vice President of Design, and later on to a dedicated UX manager. If you’re looking to challenge your skillset, grow in different directions and be inspired by top talent in the field: this is the place for you. Following the rapid growth in our design team, you will also have multiple growth opportunities and a manager who puts time & effort into designing your career path with you.
