Job Posting for Critical Facility Manager at Facility Support
Must Haves:
1 year of management experience
Experience working in a mission critical facility preferably a data center
Experience Maintaining Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs)/Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Documentation - Creating/reviewing/updating SOPs/EOPs, providing training to technicians and monthly reviews
Experience negotiating rates with third party vendors on behalf of AT&T, writing work orders and purchase orders, approving work orders and purchase orders, approving invoices, and auditing invoices
Experience managing a facility budget and history of staying within or under budget
Plusses:
Electrical / mechanical engineering background
Day to Day:
Supporting AT&T’s RCA efforts following an event and taking steps to eliminate the source of those events.
Managing change controls in accordance with AT&T’s procedures through the use of SMOPs and AOTS tickets
Maintaining Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs)/Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Documentation - Creating/reviewing/updating SOPs/EOPs, providing training to technicians and monthly reviews
Ensuring completion of preventative maintenance and repair work, managing training and development of crews,
Management of the Supplier’s workforce - Hiring, firing, disciplinary action, performance reviews, scheduling, training
Negotiating rates with third party vendors on behalf of AT&T, writing work orders and purchase orders, approving work orders and purchase orders, approving invoices, auditing invoices Work with end users to improve the efficiency and quality of the critical facilities
Management of the facility operations budget, training and development of their crews, and switchgear testing program
Identifying capital projects, participating in planning, pre-construction and progress meetings, being DCO representative, ensuring uptime, ensuring time spent on projects by technicians is charged to capital projects
Identifying energy saving projects
Verifying and updating equipment inventories and preventative maintenance routines
Writing and/or reviewing Method of Procedures(MOPs) and AOTS tickets
Ensure Change Management process and approvals are followed
Plan and schedule annual Black Start Exercise
Schedule and document monthly generator runs
Maintain training plan for each technician, update proficiency tracker
Contact for AT&T employees, building tenants, regulators, auditors
Oversight of vendor performance (i.e., ensuring that the vendors’ performance is in accordance with contract specifications including meeting with the vendors concerning issues, providing direction, managing budget, providing access, inspecting work, requesting pricing, writing work orders etc.)
