CNC Machinist

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY. If you have a passion for precision machining this could be the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will work with vertical and horizontal manual lathes, to produce high-quality components for our production runs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual machines, including manual lathes, vertical lathes, and surface grinders.
• Perform machine setups for efficient production runs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines to maintain optimal performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate machining of parts.
• Utilize calipers and micrometers for precise measurements and quality control.
• Collaborate with team members to improve machining processes and workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Manual Machinist with strong manual machining skills.
• Familiarity with tooling and machine setups.
• Experience troubleshooting machines effectively.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with surface grinders, manual grinders, and vertical lathes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
