Position Summary:
The position is responsible for the sales floor of the Gift Shop with focus on accuracy of cash register, care of sales floor, deliveries of phone orders to patients, pricing and placement of POS approved merchandise, copying of FSA required materials, and other sales floor/ stockroom issues.
Essential Skills, Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent, expected graduation from high school within 1 year
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to use the cash register
- Knowledge of ordering, invoice/ credit processing
- Knowledge of storeroom operations/processing
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate a calculator
- Knowledge of retail operations
- Ability to read and write and communicate in basic English
- Able to follow directions accurately and promptly
- Ability to work in a fast paced team oriented environment
- Detail oriented, conscientious on a consistent basis
- Dependable, responsible and punctual
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining store stock using the FSA Point of Sale system
- Pricing and placing merchandise on sales floor and related activities.
- Maintain inventory control and loss prevention
- Ensure that store is fully stocked at all times
- Receiving merchandise and maintaining quantity verification of shipments
- Maintain tidy, well kept storeroom to include dusting, sweeping, and vacuuming
- Maintain quantity verification for inventory control
- Protect company assets for store
- Participate in a free flow of communication within the store
- Participate in the daily activities of the store as directed
- Ability to be attentive to details while maintaining focus on the big picture
- Ability to accurately order merchandise
