JOB OVERVIEW
The Income Auditor is responsible for the correctness of the daily revenue and ensuring that revenue and settlements (cash, credit card or accounts receivable) are balanced daily. A daily "flash" report of the hotel's performance is made. The needed detail for the Income and Cash journal is maintained. The Income Journal and Cash Journals are created and posted monthly.
• Produces the Daily Revenue "Flash" report.
• Produces the Income and Cash Journals monthly.
• Ensure proper filing of all supporting documents, generates reports in a timely fashion.
• The Income Auditor is responsible for the appointment, training and instruction of a competent deputy within the staff who fully assumes duties during any absences.
