Looking for a project manager to join our team and manage our 503B portfolio development and product management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage existing products and product portfolios including but not limited to marketing enhancements, labeling and packaging improvements, use of RFID tagging, product registration with various compendia and/or payers, and other efforts targeted to improve current products.
- Lead product management efforts for the New Product Development department.
- Develop and execute product development and management strategies for all products and services targeted to hospital/health system and surgery center facilities.
- Follow the facility validation policy and validation master plan & ensure safe and compliant cGMP operations.
- Support the NPD department in the development and implementation of products/presentations for the facility that ensure all aspects of the validation program are maintained in a state of compliance with respect to site and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate department validation activities within the production schedule.
- Perform data analysis, including the use of statistics, and prepare written reports/summaries from validation studies.
- Develop products and product platforms that fulfill untapped market needs.
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to prioritize and develop compelling strategies and initiatives relating to product development and management.
- Evaluates effectiveness of strategies and tactics, including development of program success metrics, evaluation criteria, feedback mechanisms and return-on-investment analysis.
- Drive strong collaboration within the plant and across the network.
- Work in an environment of teamwork, open communication, and a sense of urgency.
- Demonstrate company’s core values and perform related company tasks.
Set yourself apart
Skills/Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree required. An undergraduate degree with an emphasis in Business, Marketing or related field with an MBA or advanced degree would be considered a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Public speaking skills.
- 1-5 years of experience as a product manager in the health care field (pharmaceutical, medical device or similar industry).
- Experience with pharmaceuticals, sterile product compounding and/or the 503B industry preferred.
- Demonstrated competency to lead and influence others toward accomplishing objectives.
- 1-4 years product management or professional services experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and planning skills including the understanding of statistical trends required.
- Proficient at Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project (or similar)
- Additional experience relating to sales, marketing, and/or new business or product development preferred.
- The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated success in project management and participation in cross-functional teams and initiatives.
