About this role
We are looking to add a Corporate Paralegal to support our growing team. This individual will provide administrative support to the Counsel team and play a key role managing contracts, policies and processes, providing entity support, and supporting the equity program. We’re looking for an energized self-starter who is organized and excited to manage processes independently. The role reports to the General Counsel.
What you’ll do
- Provide administrative support to the Counsel team and play a key role managing transaction documents, reviewing, executing and organizing contracts and key terms, and maintaining confidentiality
- Manage and maintain Faire’s corporate document portfolio, legal entity structure, IP portfolio, contracts, and corporate databases. Establish internal corporate processes, including the coordination of Counsel team office hours
- Assist with entity formation, state filings and maintenance for U.S. and international subsidiaries, including managing and updating entity management platform and assisting with execution of intercompany transactions
- Work with local counsel to ensure regulatory compliance with applicable international legal regimes
- Support the day-to-day duties of the equity program, including processing stock option exercises, share transfers, and issuing new employee grants
- Coordinate and prepare for Faire board meetings and correspond with directors
- Work closely with our internal product, business, and compliance teams, as well as with external advisors and experts to develop and maintain business and policy projects
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of paralegal, project management or other experience requiring attention to detail and time management
- B.A./B.S.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work with team members at all levels, sometimes under pressure, while remaining proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision and drive projects forward
- Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities and attention to detail
- Highly organized and proactive
