Roles and Responsibilities
As a Summer Service Associate at Fairfield Residential, your roles and responsibilities will be multifaceted, depending on the day and the needs of the property. Reporting to the Property Manager, Service Manager, or the Regional Service Manager, you’ll have a chance to learn valuable technical, service and team skills. Our associates undertake an array of maintenance functions (from pool maintenance and power washing to apartment turns and trash-outs).
You’ll be working alongside fun, caring, and compassionate people. Teamwork, a focus on customer service and a positive outlook are essential, as is an understanding that the work you’re doing is meaningful to others.
Qualities and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Previous groundskeeping or building maintenance experience a plus
- Customer service skills, both verbal and written
- General computer skills
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Good team player
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, and to attend company functions as required
