What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at Fairlead?

Estimator’s Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries and pricing requests from both customers and company personnel
- Prepare and submit subcontracts and rental requisitions in support of pricing proposals
- Identify all cost elements necessary for execution of work requirements including production trade person-hours, subcontracts, rentals and materials
- Create work breakdown structures to support proposal submittals and negotiations
- Prepare requisitions for subcontracts and rentals to support proposal pricing
- Interface with Subcontracts Group to resolve technical and schedule issues with subcontractors
- Establish execution approach for work requirements with project and production management
- Resolve technical and schedule issues with contracts, project managers and production leaders
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understand business math skills
- Learn and understand company enterprise systems
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent plus five years of experience
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment screen
