What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Nursing position at Fairview Senior Living?
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director
of Nursing (DON) who is a Registered Nurse (RN), BSN preferred, with a minimum
of 5 years of experience in a Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing setting.
Our Director of Nursing demonstrates superb leadership
qualities, leads by example, and demonstrates an interest in helping out at all
levels of the operation to ensure the highest degree of quality patient care in
accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and Life Care standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree in Nursing
- Must hold a valid New Hampshire Registered Nurse
license.
- Hold a current CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of nursing and medical
practices along with law’s and regulations for long term care.
- Displays integrity and professionalism with
residents, nursing staff and families.
- Strong working knowledge of EMR and PCC, and
getting ready for PDPM
- Proficient computer skills
