Overview
JOB SUMMARY:
The Administrator will work rotationally; working in the newest and most advanced Mud Plant, and will play an instrumental role in supporting drilling activity in the Alpine area. The Admin will be responsible for supporting all travel, administrative and documentation needs of the project; cooperation and accomplishment focused on the safe completion of the project.
LOCATION: North Slope, Alaska
SCHEDULE: 2 weeks on/off rotational
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Directly support Fairweather staff, primarily Superintendent
- Interact with COPA appointed administrative leaders to ensure accurate and timely compliance with applicable COPA procedures
- Help maintain lines of communication between Anchorage, Slope, Contractor & Subcontractor key individuals
- Help create and have templates approved for daily, weekly reporting and additional reports as requested from client
- Help gather information, prepare, proofread and distribute daily progress reports
- Help manage meeting calendars, invites, agendas, prepare presentations
- Respond to routine business emails on behalf of the FWX team
- Assist with computer software updates, issues; simplify process change implementation; create “How To” guides as needed
- Stay informed of all personnel on site and able to respond to emergent situations with up to the minute roster
- Be prepared to help with travel/billeting/personnel logistics tasks in emergent or back up situations
- Help maintain up to the minute flight/billeting/manpower schedule and produces reports on a regular basis – include information for booked reservations, pending reservations, and forecasted flight/bed needs
- Assist Site Administrative Coordinator during times of increased work loads
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED
- Willing to work a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off schedule
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions
- Interested in working with computers and scheduling software
- Able to work on multiple projects with changing priorities
- Alaska experience preferred
