Falck Mobile Care is part of Falck, a global emergency medical services (EMS) provider originating from Denmark, that helps reduce avoidable ER visits, inpatient hospitalization and skilled nursing facility requirements. Falck has been operating in the US since 2010 and one of the largest private provider of emergency medical services in the country today. Our new Falck Mobile Care provides a convenient, hands-on approach to patient care for unplanned and urgent medical needs. We provide personalized, patient centered quality care in the home. Evaluation, treatment management is led by board certified emergency medicine physicians.
Position Summary:
The Business Development Manager will bring a strong sales background in senior healthcare and provider relationships. Responsibilities include initiating and maintaining contact with medical offices, physicians, health plans and other members of the medical community and will serve an integral part in growth and development in the southern LA county and Orange County market. You will be responsible for growing and owning strategic healthcare partnerships.
Compensation: Starting $115,000 per year

Essential Functions:
The Business Development Manager may be assigned one or more duties. These duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Sales/Business development
- Develop, support and grow new business opportunities at identified target health plans, channel partners and strategic accounts for mobile care services
- Drive sales activity with a team sales approach, developing winning and compelling win strategies and proposals
- Build senior client relationships with decision makers at prospective accounts
- Increase adoption and strengthen referral sources and partnerships through continued partner relationships
- Be main point of contact when referral source(s) ask questions or if issue arise, and provide timely responses when necessary
- Work with senior communities, home health agencies, provider groups, health systems and other organizations to develop partnerships
- Identify potential public relations opportunities and challenges, and relay pertinent information to the Management .
- Attend all open house type events in the medical community to represent Falck Mobile Care.
Marketing and Communications
- Partner with Falck Communications to develop any press releases or other media coverage to support marketing efforts
- Partner with Falck Digital Marketing Specialist to develop and post content via social media to support marketing efforts
Analytics
- Work with corporate business intelligence team to analyze local market data and metric and partner specific metrics and build internal and external reports
Additional Duties:

Maintain a professional profile as a mentor and motivator, and lead by professional example.
Attend all required Management meetings.
Remain informed of relevant economic conditions and situations and make appropriate recommendations to the Management.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

The individual in this position must possess the following qualifications:
>Enthusiasm for redefining the care paradigm for emergent and urgent medical needs
>5 years of experience in consultative sales of complex solutions or services to national and large regional health insurance plans (specifically selling services, not pure tech or SaaS)
>Demonstrable experience gaining senior level access and building relationships with key leaders at health plans: Chief Medical Officers, P&L Leaders, Heads of Behavioral Health, Product
>Experience working in Healthcare Provider relations or senior living/senior health experience required
>Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue goals.
>Healthcare industry experience
>Excellent analytical skills and quality orientation. Strives for continuous improvement.
>Ability to consistently meet or exceed department goals and deadlines.
>Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals, teams, supervisors, managers, and external customers.

>Computer proficiency, including but not limited to Microsoft Suite and database programs.

Education Requirements:
The individual in this position must possess the following education requirements:
BS/BA or equivalent experience in related field.
