What are the responsibilities and job description for the Help Desk Technician position at FalconTek?
We are looking for a Help Desk Technician to help out on a short term project in the DC area. The technician would assist in setting up the physical computer work spaces for a federal agency as well as provide basic tier 1 support to include software updates. Additionally the Help Desk Technician would be responsible for assisting user set up hardware.
Responsibilities
- Set up computer workstations
- Update operating systems/drivers
- Set up user hardware
Requirements
- 1 year years of experience working in a help desk support role
- Pass a Background check
- Available to work onsite during normal business hours (8 hours a day)
- Strong communication both verbally and written
- HS diploma or GED required
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $30.15 per hour
