Overview
Falconwood, Inc. is a small, woman/veteran-owned business providing executive level consultants and programmatic support to Department of Defense (DoD) Information Technology (IT) initiatives and programs. We provide expert consultation on a diverse range of IT subjects focusing on acquisition strategy, implementation activities and Information Assurance policy and engineering. We have an immediate opening for an Sr. Logistics Analyst (OCM) for the Navy’s LOG IT Program.
Duty Location:
Charleston, S.C. preferable
Responsibilities
- Support the establishment of Organizational Change Management (OCM) guidance for the LOG IT Portfolio to include training the LOG IT stakeholders on OCM.
- Engage in program specific planning and coordination of all stakeholder communication activities to include written, virtual, and in-person interactions.
- Create a baseline of effective knowledge and increased ability of stakeholders to understand the system and its behavior performance.
- Develop OCM plans and schedules.
- Create and implementation of change management plans (including the integration of communications and training) for raising awareness about a change.
- Coaching sponsors and leaders, involving employees in the design of the change, getting employees ready for the change to accelerating current to proposed state.
- Support logistics’ portfolio process improvement activities.
- Participate in IPTs, PMRs, and other logistics activities.
- Document reviews/comments for logistics documentation.
- Support the implementation and management of program changes and interventions to ensure program goals are achieved.
- Prepare all logistics documentation and plans compliant with the associated MIL STD.
- Must be able to learn and apply new or revised logistics concepts to the program.
Qualifications
- The candidate MUST have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance
- Must be capable of communicating effectively in writing as well as verbally at a senior management level
- Ability to conduct organizational change management activities to ensure full and proper implementation project lifecycle.
- Knowledge and application of a change management methodologies (e.g., Kotter, Prosci or ACMP), within an IT system.
- Must be able perform duties on-site, at the Washington Navy Yard (Post COVID) when required
- Must have experience participating on teams with Government personnel, other contractors, and Commands in logistics related activities
- Must be able to work with minimal oversight and meet deadlines
- Must have effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must have short-term and long-term planning skills
