Seeking full time dental receptionist/assistant with great attitude, strong communication skills and excellent work ethic to join our family run practice. In this position, you will be the first line of communication with our patients, the HEART of the Dental Practice. We are looking for someone who is prompt, caring, well spoken, detailed oriented, and able to multitask in a fast paced office environment. The position is primarily for a dental receptionist, but some dental assisting as well.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of customer service at all times
- Work as part of a team with emphasis on communication
- Answer phones and confirm appointments
- Greet and check in patients
- Accurately verify dental benefits
- Maintain detailed patient records in a fast-paced environment
- Collect payments, co-payments and deductibles
- Create insurance claims and submit pre-authorizations to insurance companies on a timely basis
- Maintain a clean and professional office environment
- Scheduling
- Answering and routing phone calls
- Greeting visitors
- Sorting and sending mail
- Setting up and breaking down rooms if needed
- Assisting if needed
