Job Summary:
The Food Service District Manager will be accountable for the tactical execution, successful implementation of programs, and overall growth of foodservice including multi concept foodservice/restaurant, freestanding, and C- store venues.
Collaborate with the Directors of Operations, Area Managers and unit level leadership and employees to ensure success in Operational Excellence resulting in the delivery of consistently exceptional products and guest experiences. We are looking for an engaging, self-motivated team player, high-energy, purpose-driven, hands on, results-oriented leader who has a track record of setting, pursuing, and achieving aggressive goals for organizational success.
Essential Functions:
- Owns the foodservice business and leads operations as the Operations Expert
- Coaches and develops AM/SM assisting them in accomplishing companywide goals and objectives
- Drives results and increases Net-Profit, ensuring weekly targets are achieved in operational metrics
- Partners and influences the Operations Team to implement the Foodservice business plan
- Leads new products rollouts, new restaurants opening, marketing, customer service, daily operations, and financial performance
- Inspires and motivates team through communication and provides analytics, feedback, planning, direction, and recognition based results
- Effectively coaches team members and managers to consistently execute at a high level in accordance with best-in-industry standards.
- Manages/Oversee all day-to-day food service operations with a focus on delivering a great guest experience.
- Determines current and future staffing needs in the café and food operations to ensure adequate team members are available to deliver a great guest experience
- Identify and develop high potential team members and managers to fill future openings
- Aligns all behavior with the values and Operational Excellence
- Identifies opportunities to drive sales by overseeing and implementing in-store marketing programs
- Evaluates performance fairly and frequently and holds managers and team members accountable to results
- Creates a safe and clean environment for all managers, team members, and guests by ensuring all company and regulatory standards are met
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

- Coordinates and communicates with AM/SM regarding facility and maintenance requests, new restaurant openings, remodels, etc.
- Maintains effective relationships with vendors, distribution, and other vendors
- Demonstrated ability to build networks of people and utilize resources in person and remotely
- Strong understanding of the operations work processes including the interaction with accounting, and support services departments, and their interaction with retail operations
- Strong analytical, planning and time management skills
Qualifications: Experience, Competencies, and Education
- 2 - 5 years of corporate restaurant experience at Above-Store-Level
- BS degree or relevant experience strongly preferred
- High level of restaurant metrics, benchmarks, qualified to manage the P&L
- Strong food safety knowledge
- Experienced and comfortable coaching & influencing
- Team player and can effectively work with cross-functional teams to accomplish goals
- Strong written and oral communication and easily engages with all levels
- Strong understanding of M.S. Office programs
- Amazing at leading & developing teams
- Works hours relevant to the current priorities and objectives of the department
