Booster doses are not required at this time. Provides program and technical support to research and research utilization teams within the Global Health and Population Research Department. Collects, compiles, and analyzes information relevant to needs for each team. Provides administrative and project support. Supports each team in coordinating meetings with funders, internal and external partners, USAID Missions and FHI 360 country offices. Ensures compliance with internal and external regulations. Preference will be given to candidates in Eastern and Central Time Zones, especially North Carolina and Washington DC where FHI 360 has offices. Specific duties: Provides support to project and/or research teams, including troubleshooting, updating work plans, coordinating meetings/travel arrangements, and monitoring of overall project activities. Coordinates meeting scheduling, preparation of agenda, management of telecommunications, meeting minutes and follow up on action items for teams who may be in different time zones. Supports development of subawards, proposals, budgets, project materials, and information throughout the life cycle of projects. Conduct project management tasks such as tracking performance against activity and workplan budgets, project timelines, objectives, and deliverables. Collects, compiles, analyzes, and reports information for projects and proposals including independently driven work as appropriate. Provides administrative and technical support as needed by writing, reviewing reports and presentations for both internal and external audiences. Maintains document filing on-line in compliance with regulatory systems. Documents and shares project accomplishments, challenges, and lessons learned for internal and external audiences. Supports program/project/proposal teams administratively to provide high quality deliverables to clients. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent – Health, Behavioral, Life/Social Sciences International Development, Human Development or Related Field. Master’s degree in global health, public health, or related field preferred. 2 years of relevant experience supporting projects and/or a technical practice area. Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO), government agency, or private organization. Prior experience working in public health program management/research project. Excellent oral and written communications skills in English; knowledge of French is an asset. Basic knowledge of USG funding mechanisms including rules and regulations and other international donors working in international development is a plus. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite software, including document sharing and videoconferencing. Working knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures associated with global health programming. Ability to problem solve and recommend corrective action as needed. Strong organizational and project management skills, attention to detail. Articulate and professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive fashion with staff and partners. Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple activity requests. This job posting summarizes the main duties of the job.
