What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salesforce Administrator position at Family Reach Foundation?
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Salesforce Administrator will work with the Operations and Impact teams to identify, implement, and manage systems and processes in our CRM platform to support Family Reach in order to accomplish the mission of the organization. Working cross-departmentally and reporting to the Director of Operations, this person will play a vital role in helping the organization function smoothly and efficiently, enabling us to reach thousands of families each year. This position will also serve as the “Help desk” for our staff, helping to resolve and escalate technical issues to the Director of Operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Salesforce Administration
- Serve as a primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with ~45 users and 300-400 portal/community users.
- Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, 3rd party applications and integrations, permissions, and other routine tasks
- Generate standard reports, and work to make reporting function more accessible to the team through collaborating with the Impact team
- Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization, including maintaining training materials
- Serve as a thought partner to both the Operations team and the Impact team from a Salesforce perspective for complex projects and build outs
- Work independently with members of the organization to proactively define and document development requirements to better meet the team’s needs
- Maintain updated documentation of processes and procedures for our Salesforce instance
- Refresh sandbox environments as well as test and deploy updates from sandbox environment to production org
Data Quality and Quality Assurance
- Maintain intentional naming conventions with reporting, field names, in accordance with Operations and Impact
- Support with data request assistance, including but not limited to running complex/multiple reports to answer critical questions, leveraging a data loader
- Monitor data quality and maintain data integrity and accuracy, including regular internal audits, record cleansing, duplicate record management, and monthly backups
- Test the system changes of other Salesforce Administrators to proactively find bugs
- Identify and effectively communicate opportunities for the improvement of data quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator, or 2 years of experience with Salesforce
- Salesforce Admin certification(s) preferred
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize while working under multiple deadlines
- Ability to analyze data to find insights, think through problems & recommend solutions
- Comfortable working with highly customized Salesforce environments, with complex data models and integrations
