Description:

We are looking for an HCA/NAC/NAR or someone who has experience with transfers and personal care and who is willing to earn their Home Care Aide Certification. This individual would be willing to join our team as we work together to provide bathing assistance to low-income, elderly individuals in Spokane. You are paid $18.75 per bath, which last anywhere between 30-60min in length. The ideal candidate is able to meet the following criteria:

Criteria and Duties:

• Ability and willingness to provide bathing assistance, which can include bed/sponge baths or showers, and other personal cares.
• Familiarity with safe transfer techniques, with the very rare need to use lift equipment.
• Ability and willingness to clean up the bathroom after use and provide limited light housekeeping during the scheduled duration of the shift.
• Ability to schedule their case load with their clients. Clients are seen M-F during normal business hours.
• Ability to follow detailed care plans and report changes in client condition to the office.
• Ability to drive themselves to shifts within Spokane County and be reimbursed mileage and travel time between client visits.
• Compassion and empathy towards individuals who are experiencing changes in their life that necessitating the assistance of other for bathing and other personal cares.
• Readiness to make connections with wonderful individuals and their families and have the knowledge you are making a huge contribution to someone's quality of life.

Additional Information:

• Our hiring process is fast and simple! Apply and the recruiter in your region will connect with you to schedule a phone interview. If hired, you will be scheduled for orientation at your branch. Once you have completed onboarding, orientation, and training, you can start working with clients!
• If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it.

Requirements:

• 18 years
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
