The Role: We are seeking an Engineer III for our Customer Accounts and Transaction (CAT) Login & Eligibility team. This role reports to our Sr. Software Development Manager and is responsible for helping define our identity, authentication and authorization strategy. The role will work closely other members of the engineering organization helping them build secure APIs that enable a friction less login experience for our customers. This engineer will have the opportunity to build a scalable, secure architecture with multifactor login within an ambiguous regulatory environment.  #LI-Remote Duties and responsibilities may include: Develop a strong understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming. Communicate, develop, and implement a data-driven engineering strategy, approach, and roadmap for Engineering needs. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, inside and outside of Engineering, and collaborate to gather and present testing metrics and activities. Help development teams adhere to the principles, guidelines, and best practices of the engineering strategy. Remain current on technology and trends in engineering. Must be open to occasional travel to events and Bet Fanatics offices for various offsite and team meetings. What skills are important to us: Strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, in a continuous delivery environment. Demonstrated ability to partner closely with engineering team and implement appropriate tools and practices that balance quality with productivity.  Strong presentation and communication skills. Highly outcome oriented and data driven. Experience in Experimentation, A/B Testing, Optimization Ability to deliver service and data integrations between different teams and 3rd parties.
