JOB SUMMARY:
Fancypants, a new and original concept in East Nashville, is opening this Summer. We value hospitality above all else - extending it to our customers, co-workers, suppliers, and neighbors. We're seeking professional and experienced line cooks to join our team.
We're looking for cooks who share a passion for food, have a strong work ethic and work well as a team. The ideal candidate must be consistent and possess the ability to prioritize and follow direction. Line cooks at Fancypants will be responsible for final prep for service, setting up and working their assigned station, and closing/cleaning properly. Success is based on having strong organizational skills and a passion for creating excellent, upscale meals from the supplies of our local purveyors.

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (We are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas)
- Solid understanding of fundamentals of cooking and advanced knife skills
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling best practices
- Constant standing, walking, stopping
- Occasional kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing ladders, and carrying of up to 50lbs
