Job Title: Cyber Defense Analyst
Job Summary:
FAR Group is currently seeking for a Cyber Defense Analyst to to actively perform the work as described in this Job Description.

Description:

Performs assessments of systems and networks within the College environment andidentifies where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, or College policy.Measures effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities. Responsible forthe plan, design, implementation and monitoring of security measures, policies, methods and procedureswhich safeguard the integrity of and access to enterprise systems, files and data elements. Maintainsknowledge of changing technologies, and provides recommendations for adaptation of new technologiesor policies. Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing data security policies and proceduresrequire change, or where new ones need to be developed.

Examples of potential work requests:

• Administer security tools and solutions which may include but not limited to endpoint security,vulnerability management, privilege management, Office 365 security modules, two- factorauthentication, etc.;
• Respond to and participate in incident investigations;
• Review and analyze system logs for indicators of compromise.
