The headquarters are located in Ganzhou, China. Farasis is in the process of global expansion. We recently opened our new Battery Development Center in Stuttgart, Germany. We are looking for a Project Buyer for Battery Module and Pack Components.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- You handle the purchasing processes, including analysing of requirements, processing of purchase requisitions, search for potential suppliers, requests for quotes, negotiations with suppliers, as well as supplier awarding and contracting
- You are responsible for the purchasing process of battery module and pack components for prototype and serial production
- You take over the project planning and tracking of purchased parts and report to the project manager
- You organize technical supplier discussions together with our development and quality teams
- You take care of shadow cost calculation as well as target cost achievement
YOUR PROFILE
- You have successfully completed your studies in business administration or a related field
- You have several years of (strategic, commodity or project) purchasing experience in the automotive industry, preferably you also have experience in EV battery business
- You are familiar with Automotive quality requirements (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3)
- You have excellent communication and negotiation skills, also in an international environment
- Fluent English and German, Chinese language skills as a plus
- Your service orientation, high social competence and your ability to work in a team complete your profile
