POSITION SUMMARY

The Test Automation Engineer will focus on creating automated scripts to ensure efficient and effective testing of solutions to support the end-to-end business process. This position will require understanding of the technologies and their requirements to implement adequate testing strategies to ensure and demonstrate high standards of quality to our Owner-Associations.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Design, develop and implement automated testing and tooling solutions, primarily automation of functional and regression test cases.

2. Create, extend and maintain test automation libraries and frameworks.

3. Create and maintain data sets to be used in test automation activities.

4. Ensure that test results are documented, evaluated, and communicated.

5. Collaborate in troubleshooting any issues.

6. Configuring and managing release pipelines for continuous integration.

7. Work with developers, quality assurance and program management on user scenarios and technical implementation.

OTHER FUNCTIONS

1. Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as assigned.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education including a Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development or related field, or equivalent work experience.

4 years' experience of scripting in a QA Automation Engineer role.

Knowledge of programming with a modern language such as Java, C# or Python and experience with Azure DevOps or similar test management/automation tools.

Foundational understanding of SQL, API testing and Agile.

Ability to problem solve with accuracy and detail oriented.

Moderate travel with overnight stays as required. The need for travel will depend upon projects.

Regular attendance is required on this job, with the ability to work a full 8-hour day. Overtime as required to meet deadlines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.

MENTAL ACTIVITIES
Analyzing, calculating, comparing, consulting, coordinating, designing, documenting, editing, evaluating, interpreting, organizing, planning, presenting, reading, specifying, training.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
Hearing, kneeling, reading, repetitive motions, talking, walking, writing.
