Position Overview: The primary purpose of this position is to prepare loan documents and serving actions, using intranet and computer based processing and originating systems. Loan documents include but are not limited to promissory notes, addendums and amendments, financing statements, mortgages and security documents, as well as various other related documents.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare complete loan closing packages including closing instructions and legal entity reviews, when applicable.
- Review credit narrative to confirm appropriate documents needed for loan closing. Review title commitment and prepare closing instructions for closing team members to ensure perfected and appropriate lien position of security.
- For legal entity borrowers, reviews corporate doc uments to ensure good standing, right to borrow and individuals authorized to execute documents.
- Prepares loan closing packages with complete and relevant documents required by regulation and ensures all underwriting conditions are met.
- Utilizes the LOS, Sharepoint and Salesforce to generate and ensure accurate loan documents for closing.
Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High school diploma. Associate's degree in business administration, agribusiness or related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a lending or financial institution.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail essential.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills.
- Efficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and client databases.
