The successful candidate will be supporting and our clients throughout Colorado, from a negotiable location that fits within the territory.
What you'll be doing:
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that Farmers Edge growers receive and utilize the services provided in a timely manner resulting in educated, satisfied clients that will re-sign year after year. You will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities in selling directly to growers.
- Coordinating with Operations and Client Success teams, communicating when their involvement is required to meet the clients' expectations
- Developing a territory sales and marketing plan for specific strategies, tactics and execution
- Upselling existing growers on digital solutions and managing grower revenue, and performing regular account reviews
- Identifying new opportunities for direct to grower sales execution
- Monitoring sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and monthly forecasts)
- Monitoring customer, market, and competitor activity weekly to build and adopt appropriate sales strategies relevant to the geography
- Working from home and traveling within the region to meet with growers (when conditions permit)
- Managing strong grower relationships on farm and through digital engagement
- Training growers on new features and updates of Farmers Edge products
- Collaborating with operations making sure workflows are in place to ensure growers are satisfied
- Responding to inquiries from growers and handling issues that may arise
- Other duties as assigned.

What you'll need to succeed:
- 3 years of related experience, preferably in the agricultural industry
- Post-secondary education in business, agribusiness, or related field preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- The ability to travel to meet with growers as needed, sometimes overnight
