Role Overview 

Reporting to the Chief Creative Officer, you as the Senior Beauty Buyer will lead NovaBEAUTY’s buying activities across a range of beauty categories, products, and brands. You will oversee sourcing, buying, replenishing, and all vendor relationships across the Beauty category. Your role is an important part of the equation of success for the NovaBEAUTY brand on behalf of Fashion Nova and our customers. 

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and manage financial targets, including sales, margins, and inventory.
• Source and select quality products and brands
• Create and maintain vendor relationships, encompassing contract terms, product/shipping costs, exclusivity, and exits to support financial targets and strategy
• Partner with the E-Commerce team to determine price and product mix.
• Partner with Fashion Nova teams (Creative, Marketing, E-Commerce, etc.)
• Stay up-to-date on trends and competitors to capture opportunities.
• Review sales performance and optimize inventory in partnership with our Data Analytics and E-Commerce teams.
• Implement Beauty planograms by working with vendors to determine assortment, secure samples, assessing SKU/Brands productivity, gathering SKU setup, maintaining add/delete lists, and managing fixtures with vendors.

Your Experience

• 5 years experience in Beauty Buying, preferably with an E-Commerce brand
• Experience working with 3rd-party brands 
• You have a strong pulse on the Beauty industry and competitors 
• Ability to drive growth in an entrepreneurial environment
• Experience with Excel and Google Sheets (can perform complex functions)
• Experience with MPI (Market Price Index), Vendor management, and negotiation
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• English, additional language(s) an advantage
• Willingness to work at our Vernon, CA HQ Monday through Friday
