Responsibilities

The primary function of the IT Technician is to provide technical support for rapidly growing urgent care group located in rural communities throughout Kentucky, Indiana, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Tennessee. The position will assist 1800 off-site users in clinics, as well as our support office in Franklin, TN. Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT Service Desk on a First-In-First-Out basis depending on priority.

  • Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation.
  • Provide effective troubleshooting of EMR systems.
  • Document all internal procedures.
  • Assist with onboarding of new users.
  • Create and terminate all user accounts.
  • Install, test, and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software.
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses via Asset Tracking.
  • Respond to queries either in person or over the phone in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform active directory maintenance.
  • Responsible for learning the aspects of compliance in the company by completing all mandatory compliance training.
  • The ability to maintain friendly, cordial relations with all employees.
  • The ability to build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees.
  • The ability to maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees; maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in a positive work relationship with customers, co-workers, and managers.
  • The ability to perform the physical, use of senses, cognitive, and environmental functions of the position, as specified on the physical demands.

Experience Requirements and Preferences:

            Education:

  • Associates Degree in Information Systems or related technical discipline preferred

 

Required Experience:

 

  • At least three years of customer service experience required
