What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRO Clerk position at FasTemps?
· Maintain and organize all Maintenance/Tool Room stockroom parts· Maintains an organized stockroom and ensure adequate stock is always on hand.
- Write and update PM’s· Very good understanding of SAP, Infor EAM or comparable software a MUST 2 or more years.· Receives and sorts incoming parts and supplies· Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in appropriate location in stockroom.· Maintains records and keeps an up-to-date tracking of goods in system.· Prepares requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies (i.e., re-order punches, bushings, and other items) needed for Maintenance and Tool Room.
· Assigns stock numbers to parts.· Monitors and controls minimum and maximum on all stockroom items.· Ensures work area is kept clean, tidy, and safe always.· Co-operates with the Safety Committee and adheres to all plant safety rules and policies, including wearing of all Personal Protective Equipment.· Participates in Continuous Improvement and assists in its implementation on an ongoing basis.· Any other reasonable request made by management.
· Contributes to a safe, clean, and comfortable work environment that complements the Occupational Health and Safety Act by ensuring the principles of the 5S discipline (simplify, separate, sanitize, standardize and support) are supported and adhered to.
Ensures he/she is in full compliance with the laws of Michigan
