Driver (No CDL)

Job Summary:

Fastenal is seeking a Full-time Driver (DOT-No CDL) to join our transportation team. As a representative of the Fastenal fleet, you will be responsible for delivering products from our distribution centers to branches and customer on-site locations. This role requires a safe and efficient driver who can operate a straight truck, unload freight at each stop, and maintain a clean work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent service to our branches and customers by delivering products in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Utilize a handheld scanner to track deliveries and inventory.
• Unload product from trucks by hand, pallet jack, or forklift.
• Interact with our shipping and receiving departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a clean work environment within our equipment and work area.
• Comply with health, safety, and sustainability rules and expectations.
• Participate in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety, and sustainability objectives.

Requirements:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Current valid Driver's License in good standing.
• Current health card or ability to obtain one.
• Meet Fastenal driving record requirements.
• Strong working knowledge of DOT regulations for a DOT-No CDL Driver.
• Maintain DOT regulated Drivers Hours-of-Service.
• Demonstrate core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
• Lift up to 60 lbs. and maneuver up to 150 lbs.
• Successfully complete required DOT drug and alcohol screens, road test, employment verification, and background check.
