Position location is flexible and may office from a branch in Greensboro, NC or Denton, TX
Full-Time Shift(s):


OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-Time Inside Sales Sourcing, you will be responsible for supporting Fastenal's corporate sales teams and largest national customers. You will work alongside our Constructions Sales Team, National Account Sales Team, Local Branches, Fastenal Manufacturing Division, Pricing Development Group, SPA Team, and Product Development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Communicating with top accounts on a regular basis
o Quoting, purchasing, coordinating and scheduling orders, assisting with collections
o Reviewing prints and specification requirements for parts
o Cross-referencing parts based on spec requirements
o Identifying sources of supply for non-standard items
o Running cost and stocking information
o Identifying opportunities to consolidate or leverage existing spend
o Collaborating with sales people and various departments

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess or are working towards a degree in a Business related field of study OR have customer service work experience
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
o Work independently as well as in a team environment
o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Prior sales or sourcing work experience
