CNC Programmer

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up & operating CNC equipment 50% of the time.
• Offline CNC programming for 3 axis mills. 2D and 3D surface milling is
  required
• Offline CNC programming for Lathes
• Support shop floor setups and knowledge transfer
• Create documentation for the shop floor including tooling lists and setup
  sheets
• Monitor and inspect parts throughout process.
• Maintain clean and safe working environment.
• Observe quality and safety procedures.
• Communicates and collaborates with team members in the sharing of
  information and solving technical issues

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education (GED)
  required.
• A minimum of 2 years of programing 3 axis required
• Experience with 5 axis is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to program using Mastercam and solid works
• The ability to read blueprints and execute shop
  math.
• Complete work in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as required.
• Proficient understanding of G-code
• Proficient understanding of Geometric Dimensioning
  and Tolerancing
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
• Flexible, ability to work in a fast-pace team
  environment
• Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential
  information
• Self-motivated and able to take responsibility
• Must read and write English
• 2-5 years minimum experience in Robot CNC
  programming preferred
• Ability to edit and create CAM Post Processors
• General knowledge of CAD software (Autodesk Inventor or Solid works) is a plus.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with both metric and imperial until system.
• ASQ Certification is a plus.
• CMM / PCMM Operations or knowledge is a plus.
