Favor TechConsulting, LLC (FTC) is seeking a Business Analyst, Expert to support development engagements across the full systems and software architecture and lifecycle for DevSecOps and full-stack development and engineering tasks using Agile methodologies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities |
Role Overview: As a Business Analyst you will be responsible to perform tasks including but not limited: to impact mapping, design-thinking, and facilitate/coordinate business architecture working groups. The Business Analyst will work with the client business owner and development team members to define the scope of a project/release, develop requirement documents, use cases, activity diagrams, flowcharts, and supplemental specifications to describe the application requirements to support the project scope. The candidate must be able to work independently and conduct tasks in coordination with the development team. Responsibilities: - Work with the customer to identify their business/contract requirements and develop a proposed solution
- Work with product owners and team leads to decompose large epics into manageable user stories
- Manage backlog, roadmap, priorities and engage product and stakeholder team to move towards a common vision
- Conduct testing such as functional testing, user acceptance testing, and pre and post-deployment testing
- Ability to decompose complex topics and experience to explain them using whiteboards
- Builds trust and respect, establish relationships, and develop a rapport with technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders
- Conduct requirements decomposition/derivation and conduct detailed design to meet technical performance and information security requirements
- Lead and facilitate release planning, sprint review, and project management throughout the program
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily scrums, demos, retros, grooming and planning sessions
- Elicit, document, and refine functional and non-functional requirements, technical requirements, detailed requirements, and baseline requirements using agile practices

Required Skills & Experience |
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably STEM degree)
- Experience leading requirements workshops
- Experience documenting business cases, use cases, user flow diagrams, and wireframe development.
- Experience designing, developing, and delivering user training.
- Strong experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage team members, clients, and stakeholders
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and UIUX principles
- Experience working independently to deliver results
- Experience applying various techniques to elicit requirements, create a shared understanding, and provide meaningful acceptance criteria to the team
- Strong knowledge of office productivity tools Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
- Strong analytical aptitude, and an ability to structure complex or undefined business problems

Years of Professional Experience: | 5 to 8 years |
Desired Skills & Experience |
- Prior consulting and client management experience is a plus
- Strong data management skills in tools such as Microsoft Excel or Access-Experience with Pivot Tables, Data Merging, and Formulas required
- Data Analysis or the ability to find trends, issues, and process improvements
- Experience documenting the business process through UML / BPMN diagrams
- Knowledge of healthcare processes to include Payor or Provider workflows across commercial or federal clients
