Sr. Program Manager

• Role Overview:

A proven leader and information technology expert to plan, coordinate and direct all of financial services and data analytic activities. The Sr. Program Manager will lead our information technology team in the pursuit of all things development, architecture, client engagement and analytics. The Sr. Program Manager will also be required to learn about FTC operations and then recommend the best way to streamline them using innovative technology and open communication. Must be equipped to handle anything from computer programming to systems analysis, and possess the ability to efficiently delegate to skilled staff.

• Responsibilities:
• Manage Financial Service Center tasks daily by analyzing workflow needs and establishing priorities, and set deadlines when necessary to keep personnel on task
• Meet with internal and external decision makers to discuss all information technology needs, including hardware, software and data management
• Design project plans to advance FTC’s information systems, implement said plans upon approval, assign project activities to personnel and monitor milestone and completion progress
• Ensure program wide internal information services resources, such as data security and disaster recovery policies and procedures, and departmental goals, policies and procedures
• Participate in operational staffing decisions, including recruiting, hiring, training and supervising all operations personnel
• Propose and then monitor approved operational budget to cover purchases, training, resources and other expenditures
• Remain abreast of information technology advancements, and recommend upgrades to all computer systems when applicable
• Define strategic long-term and short-term program objectives supporting business mission
• Establish policies and procedures governing program execution and accountability
• Set priorities and milestones for individual projects and team initiatives within the program
• Provide guidance to mid-level management, direct reports and indirect reports
• Report directly to FTC executives on a weekly and quarterly basis

• 15 years of program management experience or 10 years at the senior project management level
• Master’s degree in business administration or program management required and 15 years of experience; 10 additional years of experience may be substituted for education
• Experience working with matrixed organizations with multiple satellite offices
• Proven history of turning around underperforming and maintaining strong business units to restore profitability
• Ability to collaborate with executive teams, stakeholders and investors
• Proven history with proposal management, business development, and organic growth strategies
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong and lasting client relationships

PMP

Formal Education:

Bachelors in Business or Computer Science related fields
