The Financial Analyst will conduct research related to revenue, cash, and receivable items while comparing and analyzing actual results to plans. The role will also prepare and evaluate financial reports to be utilized in revenue optimization and cost recoveries, and assigned special projects. The role will also perform other financial duties as requested.
What you will do for Fay:

• Prepare and compile the Servicing Fee Heat Map report to analyze fee amounts by categories
• Compare and analyze workout incentive fees against business production, report variances and findings
• Research revenue variances by client and identify root causes
• Prepare aged receivable reports showing amounts due by client
• Work with the Treasury department on holdback determinations related to BPLs
• Assist with special projects as requested, e.g. commercial servicing, fee logic, support for Fay Affiliates

What you will bring to Fay:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required; High school diploma/GED required
• High level of analytical skills for analyzing results and projected future results
• 1 year of experience in working with financial analysis programs and projects
• Very good reporting, summarization, and communications skills
• Understanding of resource requirements for financial tasks
• Excel and other MS office systems knowledge and proficiency
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
