What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Counselor Full-Time position at Fayetteville Athletic Club?
Fayetteville Athletic Club is seeking happy, energetic summer camp counselors for summer 2024. MUST LOVE KIDS! :) Our camp is super fast paced & your role as a summer camp counselor includes many fun & varying responsibilities.
Our camp runs 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday, May 28, 2024 - August 8, 2024. If you enjoy sports, arts & crafts, swimming, team challenge games & crazy fun field trips, then this camp is right in your wheelhouse. Each staff member will be working full time, Monday - Friday. Shifts may vary during 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, based on our daily field trip schedule. You must be available to work full time & all 11 weeks of camp. We will be closed on July 4th & Memorial Day, but all other days, it is super important that you're present & ready to lead. Our program is licensed by DHS. Consequently, all staff must successfully pass a background screen, complete new hire DHS training as well as CPR and First Aid certification training (all paid training and offered in-house). Your employment also includes a complimentary fitness membership at FAC. At the end of camp, you will also have an opportunity to work with us in our after school program or in child care in the fall should you want to stay with us after camp is finished.
