What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tower Technician III position at FC LLC?
Salary is total compensation, OT capability

Position Summary:
The Tower Technician will be responsible for the performance of various construction tasks in the areas of tower erection, coaxial cable and antenna installation, antenna mount installation, RF testing and troubleshooting within cellular tower construction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general repair and maintenance on communications towers
- Travel to multiple sites required
- Ability to climb to heights in excess of 300 feet
- Ability to safely and proficiently utilize rigging equipment including cables, lines, knots, capstan, etc
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of towers, various types, and safety issues associated with them.
- Understand testing procedures
- Understand CDs/RFDS
- Strong rigging skills
- Direct the less experienced crew members while on the tower
- Proficient in the use of power and hand tools required for the various tasks assigned
- Set RETs, Sweep/PIM lines, and fiber test
- Understand project deliverables
Qualifications/Certifications:
- 1-5 years’ experience in cellular construction
- OSHA 10 desired
- First Aid/CPR/Bloodborne Pathogen (can do this in house during first few days)
- Competent Climber
- Rescuer training (will retrain during first few days, as cert does not transfer with employee)
- NWSA TT I (minimum)
- RF Awareness (will recertify if needed)
- Competent rigger (will recertify if needed)
- Aerial lift cert (will recertify if needed)
*All tower positions require that the person be in good physical health, with the ability to lift 75 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $87,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
