MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
The Technical Intern assists the Head Equipment Manager for all
aspects of the USL team equipment and data analytics. The Intern Equipment Manager
works directly for the Head Equipment Manager and Head of Technical Operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties
may be assigned.
GENERIC DUTIES
• Collaborate with Head Equipment Managers, coaching staff and players with all gear
and equipment needs
• Assist all coaching staff during all training sessions and match days
• Assist in analyzing player performance data and provide reports on trends, results vs
benchmarks and improvement opportunities
• Be available for any special projects and special requests from the Head of Tech Ops
and Head Equipment Manager
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Coach and Player Assistance
• Be available before, during, and after training, to aid players and coaches in various
needs
• Collaborate with Equipment Staff to provide daily equipment service for FC Tulsa
players and coaches
Game Day Set-up
• Assist in the setup of locker rooms
• Assist in the management of equipment inventory
• Plan and pack team equipment for FC Tulsa home and road games
• Coordinate with visiting team staff for any equipment requests while in market
Data Analytics/Special Projects
• Special projects as assigned by the Head EQM and Head of Tech Ops
• Analyze GPS performance data and league metrics. Report on results vs benchmarks.
Make recommendations for performance improvements and potential solutions for
best practices.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Enrolled in BS degree programs for Sports Management, Business Administration or
similar field
• Be able to work under pressure
• Display solid organizational skills
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Be extremely diligent and meticulous
• Works well independently
• Strong interpersonal skills with a diverse background
• Experience in soccer at the collegiate, semi-pro or professional level a plus

Must manage personalities and develop professional relationships inside locker room
with all players and staff
