Insurance Product Analyst (Auto)

We are currently seeking a Product Analyst to support and assist in the planning, design, maintenance and implementation of our Commercial Auto product. This role supports the Auto Product Lead and collaborates with Product Management team and business partners to deliver product enhancements, regulatory changes, and to implement updates to rates, rules, and forms. Responsible for researching, analyzing, and interpreting commercial P&C insurance rating organizations’ rules, circulars, and communications, as well as researching market and competitor information to inform and support product changes. The selected candidate will work closely with IT partners to develop and test business specifications for product changes, and is responsible for developing business communications and crafting training documents. Will also assist with product filings and maintain company reference materials. Position may be based at one of the following locations: Home Office (Sarasota, FL) or one of our branch or Regional office locations: Lake Mary, FL, Lawrenceville, GA, Indianapolis, IN , Richardson, TX, or Glen Allen, VA. (Flexible work arrangements include ability to work from home two days per week).

Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree, (or equivalent experience may be substituted for required education.)
• Minimum two years of recent Commercial Property & Casualty experience with a focus on Commercial Auto, which can consist of experience in product development/product management, underwriting, rating, IT/business analyst, and/or insurance processing

• Commercial rating bureaus such as ISO/Verisk, bureau notification procedures as well as the ability to interpret bureau communications and apply the information
• Commercial forms, coverages & rating methodologies
• State filing procedures and practices as well as regulatory environments and protocols
• Automated policy writing and rating systems and user testing of product changes
• Time management including ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and meet assigned deadlines
• Collaborative projects and working with multi-functional project teams
• Attention to detail and solid mathematical skills
• Ability to analyze, define and solve problems
• Good judgment and decision-making skills
