What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Cyber Security Analyst position at FedEx Services?
Under limited supervision responsible for creating cyber-intelligence solutions to prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems. Implements technologies deployed across application, network/perimeter, data, endpoint, identity & access, and mobility domains. Researches attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and provides countermeasure recommendations. Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information and systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Four (4) years of experience in IT information security.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience in IT Information Security. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent * in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of experience in IT Information Security in lieu of a Master's degree plus 2 years of experience. Must have experience with the following: Full infrastructure stack including: Cloud, Network, Perimeter, Endpoints & OS (Windows & Linux), OT/IoT, and other established platforms; Perimeter Security (Experience with Firewall and Intrusion Prevention); Cloud Security (Secure integration of Cloud computing with existing on-premise environment); Remote Access (Clientbased VPN, Site-to-site VPN, and SSLVPN solutions (NetScaler, F5, etc); Detailed knowledge of Linux/Unix System Administration and Windows operating systems. A related advanced degree may offset related experience requirements. May telecommute from home from any location in the U.S.
