HBCU Co-op II - Human Resources

Trains with department management, professional and support staff in order to gain valuable work experience. Performs meaningful work in assigned department commensurate with intern status. Participates in special projects as assigned. Performs assigned tasks with minimal supervision; specific duties are determined by department manager.

Minimum Education Candidate must be enrolled in Historical Black College or University (HBCU) (or a recent graduate) as a junior, senior or post graduate student.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must be reliable and exhibit follow-through. Must be adept in completing assignments and solving problems. Knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferred. Strong communications and human relations skills required.

This is a one up to three semester assignment for students pursuing a college degree in business or equivalent . Assignments are directly related to co-op's academic degree.  Student participates in a number of organized events providing visibility into the overall operations of FedEx.

To be eligible students must be either:

• Pursuing a bachelor's, graduate, or postgraduate degree from an accredited Historically Black College or University, and a minimum 3.0 GPA; or
• Have graduated with a minimum 3.0 GPA from an accredited Historically Black College or University the semester prior to the co-op.
