Job Description Summary:

  • To plan, organize and control the payroll function ensuring accurate and timely disbursement of wages in compliance with policies and procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Ensures accurate payments of federal, state and local payroll taxes and corporate liabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in business, accounting, finance or related field.
  • A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
  • Five (5) years professional accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll related laws, regulations and systems.
  • Strong analytical, communications and human relations skills.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:

  • Accounting or Payroll experience.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Experience successfully prioritizing multiple projects.
  • Employee development and coaching skills.
  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • ERP system project testing experience.
  • Quality Driven Management (QDM) experience.

Domicile/Relocation:

  • The successful candidate will ideally be located in Collierville, Tennessee (a suburb of Memphis, Tennessee), however Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania will also be considered. Relocation assistance may be available based upon business needs.
