What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Talent Acquisition Specialist position at FedEx?
Evaluates current staffing needs and proposes local hiring strategies. Responsible for establishing applicant sources by developing and maintaining a talent pipeline through various community outreach networks, professional channels, advertisement, and referral programs. Implements broader talent acquisition strategies within local markets and utilizes applicant tracking systems to monitor recruitment status for external candidates. Operates as a team lead for training in recruitment processes. Retains hiring, selection, and personnel records in compliance with company, EEO/AAP, and other governmental agency requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree/equivalent. Professional accreditation strongly preferred.
Minimum Experience
Two (2) years recruitment, related human resources, or FedEx operations management experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding employment and general human resources practices. Knowledge of recruitment and applicant tracking systems required. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills required. Workday experience preferred.
