Job Title: Marketing Director
Job Summary:
This position is in support of the III Corps Public Affairs office. The marketing director shall be the lead supervisor for the rest of the contract personnel and oversee the overall execution of the contract.
Responsibilities Include:
- Research and analysis of the Fort Hood and surrounding communities, evaluating and developing our communication strategy and plan; planning, directing, and coordinating communication efforts.
- Communicating the communication plan
- Researching demand for our products and services, identifying key audience demographics.
- Developing communication strategies
- Developing and managing communication campaigns
- Building audience awareness of III Corps' mission and activities
- Coordinating projects from start to finish
- Overseeing social media strategy and content marketing
- Plans and strategies shall be delivered within the first 30 days and ongoing on a weekly basis via power point, word documents and digital formats
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
- Experience in marketing and running a marketing team
- Proven marketing campaign experience
- Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask
- Strong copywriting skills
- High competence in project and stakeholder management
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Work Setting and Environment:
- Monday - Friday, between the hours of 8 AM - 5 PM CST
- III Corps Headquarters, Building 1001, 761st Tank Battalion Ave., Fort Hood, Texas
- On-site federal contractors, in federal buildings or on federal lands must comply with CDC guidelines with respect to wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and other public health measures
