Role and Responsibilities:
- Create a warm and hospitable environment for everyone in our restaurant
- A clear understanding of seating guests at tables
- Warmly greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival.
- Maintain professional & positive guest relations at all times.
- Clearly communicate daily menu items and make thoughtful/informed recommendations to our guests
- Serve alcohol in accordance with California Law
- Follow Health and Safety Standards when handling food and beverages
- Maintain high level of product and menu knowledge
- Partake in regular testing to ensure product knowledge is to Felix standards
- Attend regularly scheduled training meetings to develop knowledge and skills
Reports to:
- General Manager
- Additional Restaurant Leadership
Skills / Experience:
- Previous Hosting experience
- Experience with OpenTable
- Excellent listening & communication skills
- Experience with de-escalation situations
- Focused
- Multitasker
- Team player
- Knowledge of Italian food and wine an asset
- Positive Attitude
- California Food Handler Certificate
- COVID 19 Vaccination
